Ashka, Yvan, Fadada1,
My apologies. I had mistakenly put my Pages Hat on when I made the claim that the table could be rotated.
Here's what can be done in Pages, that I mistakenly claimed could be done in Numbers:
The top row in the graphic is a single column table that has been rotated and placed adjacent to another table to give the appearance of having vertical text in the top row. Even this isn't perfect because as you can see, a 1-pt line in a rotated table appears slightly thicker than a 1-pt line in a non-rotated table.
So, as Yvan suggests, you can use multiple Text Boxes to get a similar effect. And I continue to occasionally stumble across differences in how apparently-similar containers are treated in Numbers vs. Pages.
Thanks for catching my error.
