any way to open a .opd document?

I had to go to kinkos today and had a terrible time. I spent like $35 scanning 27 pages and all I got was a .opd document. How the heck can I open in? I saw some people use graphic converter to do so, but that didn't work for me. I want to convert it to a .pdf so I can, you know, use it?

Any advice?

Mac Book Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

how about going back to kinkos and asking them to save it as a PDF, since you do not have a program that can open the provided .opd file?

I dare say the majority of their customers have omnipage, so perhaps whomever created the file for you forgot to convert to a more common format before giving you the file

I know this may sound dumb, but try it:

Make a copy of the .opd file, then change the suffix from .opd to .pdf by simply typing .pdf in the filename.

Then double click on it and see if it opens. Sometimes this works.

opd, by the way, is an omnipage document. I guess I could spend another $200 on omnipage, but then I'd just buy a scanner :-/

You might want to try Graphic Converter.

You could always go back to Kinkos and have them save it out as a TIFF.
