For the past week, I cannot open Gmail in Safari; I just receive a message saying "Bad Request error 400". I am, however, able to check my gmail via firefox on the Mac, and on any other computer I choose.
Does anybody else have this problem? Am guessing this is due to the wonderful 10.5.6 update.
I too have been having the same problem since Christmas Day. I have tried deleting cookies, but it seems to be a temporary fix only. For a while it would work for a few hours, but now it is only working for a few minutes and then get the same response.
Yeah I've been getting the same problems right after Christmas as well. It just sits there refreshing like I didn't put in my password. I can go into Firefox or Camino with no problems but Safari can't seem to get past something.
+1. Bad Request Error 400. Resetting Safari fixes the problem temporarily. Has been an intermittent issue for several weeks now, I don't believe it immediately followed any update to Safari that I recall. Works fine in Firefox.
Same problem. Deleting cookies only works for a while. I've had to switch back to Firefox, which is good because I can use Zotero, but bad because Firefox is s-l-o-w compared with Safari.
Apple & Google: let's get together and fix this, eh?
Same thing happens to me while trying to login to Gmail. I just reset Safari and try to login again. It works! Safari>Reset Safari>Check all> Clear history, Empty the cache, Clear the Downloads window, Remove all cookies, Remove all website icons, Remove saved names and passwords, Remove other AutoFill form text, Clear Google searches and Close all Safari Windows.
