Hi dleone11,

If you purchased a preowned iPhone from AT&T, the warranty will continue from the date the original owner activated it.

You can purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan for any iPhone within the one-year hardware warranty, as long as its available in your country. This webpage: http://www.apple.com/support/products/applecareiphone.html provides more information about the AppleCare Protection Plan for the iPhone.

You can contact AppleCare to get more information about your iPhones warranty or purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan.

I'm wondering how this turned out for you, since I'm thinking going the refurb route myself.

Could you get AppleCare? Any other unforeseen problems with the deal.

It's supposed to be $30 over my current bill, is that right?

As far as the other posts here:
- I've been looking and haven't seen Apple offer any iPhones in the refurb department.
- The AT&T warranty says 90 days, not the full year another guy posted.
