Can't hear the microphone

Hi, I purchased a Speed Link USB microphone ( http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/-/676/883/-/5983672/SPEEDLINK-SL-8709-Pure-Voice-Micr ophone-II-USB/Product.html?searchtype=genre). In the system properties, the device is recognised and when I speak into it, the volume display changes accordingly. However, I can't hear my voice through the headphone output. I am able to hear other audio through the headphone output, such as music from iTunes.

This device also has output, and I can hear output through this device, just can't hear input.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Robbie

You need to be running some application to copy the audio input to audio out. The simplest is LineIn.
