error 11222 iTunes Store not connecting

Help please!
Can't connect to iTunes Store from recently downloaded iTunes8 software onto my PC, error 11222 keeps coming up using Windows XP. Windows firewall swithed off.
Connecting to internet ok and rest of iTunes site.

I have disconnected AVG Firewall and this has allowed me to connect, problem with this is i have no firewall protection when connecvted to Itune store, can this be resolved?
