OSX Tiger Back-up solutions

Hello,

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding a uniform way to back-up one's entire computer using OSX Tiger 10.4.10. onto a exterior harddrive. A way to back up the entire hd and that would denote what date it was last performed. I guess something like time machine for tiger.

powerbook, Mac OS X (10.4.10), getting mac pro

Look at Mac Backup - Mac Backup Software, Hardware, and Guides for Your Mac
http://macs.about.com/od/usingyourmac/tp/backuphub.htm

You can use CarbonCopy Cloner @ http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html , or SuperDuper @ http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html , or IBackup @ http://www.grapefruit.ch/iBackup/index.html , or the Restore function of Disk Utility included in OS X.

 Cheers, Tom 😉
