Sign in to your iTunes Store account on your computer, then sync your iPod.
When you sync your iPhone or iPod touch, the iTunes application on the computer will share its current iTunes Store account ID with the device you are syncing. This account ID will be used to make purchases from the iTunes Store and App Store on the mobile device.
The account ID that was synced to the device is displayed at the bottom of each page of the iTunes Store, so you'll always know what account you are using on the device. Simply open iTunes on your mobile device and scroll to the bottom of any page to see which account is currently in use.
I printed out the instructions listed in the link because I am having the same problem. When I get to the step to select "none" for credit card, this selection is not there and won't let me go past without a cc. My daughter had here ipod first and she did not have put any cc info in and has no problems. How can I get past this?
I don't know why Apple decided to add credit card as a mandatory registration field. I recall signing up for an iTunes account with that part blank. Then again, it was a year ago, and things tend to become mandatory in the society that we live in now.
hey, its so dumb, only in Canada you have to have a cc , in the states you can use the itunes cards...i bought two already and have been scratching my *** wondering what to download, but Canada I tunes ***** no good tv shows or movies or anything
