Iphone Monopoly Application won't open

I have downloaded the Monopoly application and it won't open. When i select it on my iphone it just flashes up and automatically closes again. I have tried everything to try and get it to work.

I have deleted Monopoly and re-downloaded it, I have deleted it from my iphone and re-synced it, I have turned off my phone and turned it on again, I have delete all other applications and just tried to put Monopoly on my phone, I have restored my whole phone, I have called Apple support and they told me to try all of these above things and more, nothing seems to get it to work. i have tried everything i can think of.

Any ideas?

The only thing you didn't say you tried (which you should do before trying a restore) is a "reboot"....not turn off and on, but reboot (as off and on is not a reboot).

Push and hold HOME and LOCK buttons and keep holding.
IGNORE the slide to turn off....just keep holding.
When you see the Apple logo, then you can let go.

When i was on the phone to the Apple Support people they did tell me to try this and i did try this and the game still won't open. Thanks for the suggestion though. Any other ideas?

Ok weird!! My boyfriend has a iphone too so he uploaded the game from my computer and it works fine on his phone! Why won't it work on my phone?

Another thing you could try is simply downloading and installing another app! Yes I know, it's weird but it worked for me when apps would not open and lots of other people report that it works. Doesn't matter what it is - can be something free and small and you don't have to keep it. Worth a try.

Strange as it may seem, I installed SimCity and Monopoly and had the same issue where it wouldn't start...after rebooted and/or powering on/off. After installing facebook and starting that app, going back to Monopoly and Simcity and both work now.

I had the same problem - and ended up restoring my iPhone to factory default and then set the iPhone up from scratch and that solved it. I first tried restoring my previous settings from my backed up profile but the problem was still there so this seemed to be the only fix.

Sadly you loose all settings, SMS's etc 😟

I have had this problem a few times, and I downloaded Memory Status. This app frees up memory on your iPhone, not disk space. You could give this a try, it is only $0.99.

hey heres an idea i have the same problem i was like ok i just paid $5 for an app that dose not work well here if u download it from your iphone wht i would do insted of restoring your phone first if u haven't already sync your phone to the computer then delate the app derectly off the phone then once agen sync the phone and this will reinstall the app it worked for me !!! as wel i was very disapointed at how much work i had to put into this app just to get it to work properly
