Does Numbers '09 now support time series charts?

One of the limitations of Numbers '08 was that it always spaced points on line graphs equally far apart, even if the x-axis consists of dates, which may be unevenly spaced. So it was impossible to correctly represent the passage of time on such graphs.

Does anyone know if this has been addressed in '09?
