iTunes Terms & Conditions are in Greek ??

I am getting the same problem - I've emailed Apple about it but haven't heard back yet

avril told me this had been posted elsewhere. sorry i missed it. i too am getting the greek terms and conditions. come on apple! need to download some tunes and spend some $. but not with conditions i cannot read. if i click 'printable version' it is in english but that's not what i am agreeing too?

Somehow, your itunes has wandered into the Greek store.


Go back to the itunes home store page. Scroll down to the very bottom where there is a flag icon. Make sure to change the country to Ireland.


Or, you can go ahead and try to buy something in the Greek store, but it will kick you out, since you only have an Irish account.

iTunes hasn't wandered to the Greek store - my store says Ireland.

Everything on the store is in English except for the T&Cs.

The exact same thing happens for me as well. I've tried changing stores back and forth to see if it will display in English but have had no luck. It's been like this for almost a week now.

So is it only folks in Ireland who are seeing the Greek TOS?

Why not contact them via this page, and give the the URL to this Apple discussion?

They must have a bad link in there, somewhere. They will send a canned reply that has nothing to do with your problem, probably. But if you reply back to THAT, they should notice.

But yeah , I think they should let you read what you're agreeing to in your own language.

The terms and conditions are also all Greek to me!

Which is rubbish, because I'm not willing to accept terms and conditions I can't read.

I emailed Apple support and got two emails back from them - I even included the link to this thread and the other one in the MAC forum.

They first said to change the language display of my account and for iTunes to English (it already is in English though) and to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes (the one I have is the latest version).

I said that this wasn't working and they then told me to make sure I am logged into my Apple account on iTunes prior to buying a song (I did that too) and if I am still unable to read the T&Cs then I should go read them on the Apple website where they are there.

I wrote back saying it doesn't matter if the T&Cs are on some website, I still can't read the ones I'm ACTUALLY agreeing to? That was yesterday evening and I haven't heard back yet. I also said it seems to be only Irish users that are having this problem.

If they don't hurry up and sort this out I'm gonna stop using iTunes altogether.

I was afraid of that: the old autobot replies.

About a month ago, the "create an app store account without a credit card" process was broken, and it took about 2 weeks to convince someone that they should actually _log in themselves_ to look and see.
It got fixed fairly quickly after that, yet the amount of autobot replies was astounding.

I signed out of iTunes, changed the store a few times (went to the Greek one, French one, UK one, and back to the Republic of Ireland one), signed back in and still no joy.
I'm unable (unwilling) to update some iPhone apps before I get the T&Cs back in a language I can understand - even French would do :P

Well I'm glad I'm not alone!

I've emailed them again tonight (filled out the support form on the Apple website) and have again pointed them to this thread so I will let ye know when/if I hear back from them!
