Shortcut question; what is 'key' for the hollow arrow symbol?

Hey guys,

Shortcut question; what is 'key' for the hollow arrow symbol?

I have tried the up arrow, etc.. Cannot seem to locate the arrow key being specified by the shortcuts.

System Preferences->International->Input Menu->turn on Keyboard Viewer and Show input menu in menu bar; then quit System Preferences. Click on flag in menu bar, select Keyboard Viewer, and see all the keys. If I'm reading your query correctly, it's the shift key.

I am totally new to OSX and it is just amazing how flexible and user friendly it is. Incredible....
