iPod mini

After inserting a CD in my computer the songs appear in my iTunes library. When I click "import" as instructed, the music appears to have transferred to my iPod mini but it doesn't. I am so frustrated as I cannot figure out what in the world I am doing or not doing right.

Sarah,

You're not understanding this correctly.

When you insert a cd into the drive, the tracks appear in iTunes showing all the artist/album info (provided you are connected to the internet).

You then click on import and this puts the cd into the iTunes library, not onto your iPod.

When it's in iTunes, then you can transfer it to your iPod.
