Get M-Audio Trigger Finger recognised in Logic Express 8?

OK, I'm trying to connect and use two devices:

- An M-Audio Keystation 49e
- An M-Audio Trigger Finger (drum pads)

Audio MIDI Setup recognises both devices:

The Keystation works, i.e. is recognised in Logic. The Trigger Finger, on the other hand, doesn't work. Now I -think-, though am not certain, that this is because the Trigger Finger uses MIDI channel 16 and Audio MIDI Setup shows it set to using channel 1, the same as the Keystation. However, as you can see from the screenshot I can't change the port for it - it's all greyed out.

Using MIDI Monitor from http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/ , I can see MIDI events every time I press a key on the Keystation, but can't see anything for Trigger Finger (it's recognised, but is never shown as sending any MIDI when I press anything).

Any ideas how to get two instruments recognised at the same time? Just for clarification, the Trigger Finger doesn't work on its own either, again I'm suspecting this port 16 issue but I have no proof of it.

Cheers,
Ian
