itunes stores wont connect (timed out)

I have the same problem, help! anyone?

Did you use the norton removal tool? Some folks have posted that norton was still blocking itunes store access until they used that.

In other words, just uninstalling from the Control Panel didn't really remove everything of Norton.

I've been waiting several days now for a single download and the server "times out" everytime I give it try. And I am using a Mac. Somebody elsewhere suggested that it may be the load of people using their x-mas gift cards jamming the network.

I'm having the exact same problem. I tried everything. I even reinstalled itunes and it still won't work. I've tried it on two different internect connections & still nothing. I don't know what to do. HELP!!!

Try turning the proxy off by going into IE settings.
