Restart Message on Mac Book Pro

Hey Everyone,

I start up my MacPro, hear the start sound, then before it gets to the "Loading MacOS" screen, a gradient covers the display and a message appears:

"You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button." --It displays in 3 other languages.

I restart my Mac but it simply displays the same way again. Any suggestions? I've unplugged all my peripherals and disconnected my wireless MMouse.

Hi there EMan,

This message is called a "Kernel Panic". They commonly occur because of hardware conflicts within your machine. Have you recently installed any new RAM or changed the system configuration in any way?

You are experiencing a Kernel Panic as seen and described in Apple doc.#106227. If not, disregard.
FJ has some good KP tips.
Here's the most used site for Resolving Kernel Panics. Please do all the steps in order, even if you don't think you need to do a certain step.

You may be experiencing a Kernel Panic as seen and described in Apple doc. HT1392. If not, disregard.
FJ has some good KP tips.
