sync ipod to another computer

The CD drive on my computer is not working properly, so I borrowed a friends computer, downloaded a bunch of cds and now I want to load them on to my ipod.
I amd getting the message that my ipod is synced with another computer and can only by synced with one library at a time. Am I not allowed to copy the music files. They were not purchased from the store, they are all songs loaded on to the computer from CDs.
Please help. I have looked all through the help section and have not been able to figure this one out.

Enable disk use for the iPod(unless it's an iPod touch), right-click one of the imported songs in iTunes, find its location, select all of the imported songs, and drag them to the iPod in the My Computer window. On the regular computer, drag those songs to the hard drive and then drag those copies of the songs into the open iTunes window.

I almost got there. I enabled disk use. Then found the location of the files.
I dragged them over to the ipod icon(G:)on the hard drive. (I think this is what you said to do) It looked like they were moving. It was counting down and telling me how much time was left for the copy. I don't see them on my ipod. I then tried to move them from the computer Ipod (G:) location to the open itunes window, but it does not allow that. I get a circle with a line through it.

I don't see them on my ipod.

Music transferred that way won't be playable on the iPod.

I then tried to move them from the computer Ipod (G:) location to the open itunes window, but it does not allow that.

Drag them to the hard disk first, and then from the hard disk onto the Library in the iTunes Source list.

OK, I guess I am not finding "my computer" I just moved them to the C drive.

I'm getting a new I Pod 160 gig . I have a PC , Windows Vista.. How do I Transfer everything from my
Existing 160 gig onto my Pops Macbook Pro Laptop.Then transfers that info onto my new 160 gig

I have the same problem we had to re-boot computer right back to factory settings and now when I plug i-pod in it says I am connected to a different computer plus it does not show my tunes on the list how can I get my songs back to to my i tunes library without losing my songs on ipod
