Keyboard under Boot Camp - the Delete Key is not behaving like Delete

My delete key on my Macbook Air doesn't work when I try to select files to delete - it acts as a toggle or back key. How can I fix this?

If I understand your problem correctly, it's because it works like back-space, which is what the key really is

Hold in "fn" and hit backspace

fn + backspace = delete (thanks to boot-camp)
