ARD in Observe Mode

ARD in Observe Mode

It seems that ARD hangs in observe mode and it freezes the screen...thus not updating the remote user's picture... I can still exit and reconnect but i have to do this constantly.. Thanks, Stephen

Hello Stephen,

I can only suggest to make sure both machines are on the same OS version, and ARD version.

Other information might help as well: Is this a new behavior? Have you ever used Observe successfully with this client or another? The ARD version you are running?

Also, try sending the 'kickstart' with the Send UNIX Command, or while logged in to the remote machine:

sudo /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/Resources/k ickstart -restart -agent -menu -console
