Creating Mail Stationary

Despite the many tutorials I've found with a few google searches, it does not seem a simple process to create mail stationary. Although I use mail to check mail (as it's constructed for), I've never used many of the features.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Hi,

Do you mean the preset stationary that you can use in mail messages?

I can use the default stationary, but I'd like to create my own as those ones don't have a great 'variety'.

I'd rather not purchase any stationary, because I've not got the money to do so. That's why I asked how to create them.

For simple stationery templates, where all you want is text and/or pasted graphics, see:

For things more complex such as the templates Apple includes, those are more work and not simple. The most complete explanation I've seen for the process is this one:
