And, since the iPhone does NOT support A2DP, you are not getting stereo sound.

There are some bluetooth dongles that will connect to the bottom of your phone and allow you to stream audio to a bluetooth device.

I'm going to have to try this, I haven't heard about this method yet to get it to work. You have to wonder how people figure this stuff out.

    Thanks mcastorena,
I'll give it a whirl. If I could use the headset and headphone feature, listen to music and answer calls even in mono I'll be somewhat satisfied.
I really want to start getting some audio books onto my iPhone but I don't even know how to find free ones and get them to end up in the Audiobooks section of my Mac's iTunes library. G4 iMac 1GHZ 10.4.11.
I tried with some books that read in the Mac voice, they are mp3s. I know I went slightly off-topic but I hope someone will ignore that and point me in the right direction.

You can get free - legal - audiobooks at Podiobooks http://podiobooks.com/

I downloaded my first one and listened to it on my iPhone a few months back.
They come in the form of an RSS feed (aka a Podcast in iTunes) and they even will deliver them to you serially - a chapter at a time at your own pace!

If you like the book, you donate to the author at the site and the author gets 75% of the donation.

Highly recommended and works on your iPhone.
