Why can't I unlock Quicken file?

I was copying locked Quicken 98 files from my iMac to my PowerBook both running OS 10.4.11 over my network. One file didn't fully transfer (I forget the exact error message) and all I got was a locked file that is grayed out and can't be put in the trash. The icon for this file didn't change to a Quicken icon like the other locked files that I successfully transferred. When I try to move the file to the trash I get an error message on the PowerBook saying "some of the items I am moving are in use by another application. Moving them can cause problems with the application using them." When I select Continue I get another error message that says "The operation cannot be completed because the item is locked." I tried holding down the either the Option, Control or Command keys when moving the file to the trash but that didn't work. The Get Info window shows the file is locked and the check box is grayed out so I cannot unlock it. Permissions shows I have both Read and Write privileges but this is also grayed out. I think the Finder is the application using the file.

How can I get rid of this file?
