Work on Mail while offline (Flight Mode)

Hi,

I´d like to work on my mails (move or delete some) while I´m offline (e.g. in flight mode or when there´s no reception).
The iPhone complains that it is offline, doesn´t let me shift/delete mails.

At least I can write mails and synch them when I´m back online.

Is there a trick or another mail-app that can handle mails offline?

Thanks

I had this on a flight last weekend. When it says 'Turn off Airplane Mode or use Wi-Fi to access data' I just pressed OK, and then carried on replying to emails offline.

However! I have a new problem. All the emails I drafted and sent, I expected to be stored in the Outbox until the plane landed and I could get network coverage again when they'd be sent.

What seemed to happen was that the messages I'd written just disappeared. Not in sent items, not sent to anyone. Just gone.

Has anyone else had this problem?
