No Bluetooth Hardware Found error

Hi,

I am using my macbook 2.0 13" for a week now and I just tried to connect it to my phone via bluetooth. I saw that the bluetooth device is not enabled and I saw no icon on my bar.

I went to my prefs and tried to enable it. Here's what I saw:

and when I tried to enable it I got this alert:

What might have gone wrong there? Should I do something to enable the hardware?

Regards

Macbook 13" unibody, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Here's the solution.

This is only for the error that says "bluetooth device not found"

You have to set your PRAM. After selecting to restart the macbook you hold down OPT, CMD, P, R keys simultaneously.

After your macbook starts back up shut it down and take out the battery for at least 30 minutes. Not sure exactly how long but what this does is a "hard reset" similar to what you can do for a pda device.

After that put the bat back in and start up your macbook and the bluetooth should be back up and running.

If not then you need to contact apple.
