headset wiring schematic?

Is there available headset wiring schematic for iPhone 3G? I would literaly like to melt my 300 € headphones just "beyond" mic/switch position. I mean, original headphones are not such such bad, but I bet that more than 90% people found incomfortable placing these too big pieces onto ear channel. Because of that, bass is too weak, treble kills, don't have appropriate EQ to compensate... and, if you walk (and who don't?), you must reset earphones all the time...
