iPhone loses cell signal after sitting idle

No recommendations, but I've been experiencing the exact same problem for about a month now.

It's also interesting that after I reset the iphone I get a message on itunes asking me to send my crash information to Apple!

Got fed up so reset the phone through itunes and this seems to have sorted out the wi-fi problem.

Mind you it presented a whole of other problems with mobile me sync - but i think i'm on top of it now.

the only way to solve that problem that i found is to shut down sleep mode on iphone and use "power" button instead of it

but still it's a real problem
