Photos do not appear in Full Screen Mode

Some photos simply do not appear in full screen mode. They appear fine in the regular viewer when I double click them.

Any ideas?

iMac 24", Intel 2.8 Core 2 Extreme, Mac OS X (10.5.6), Final Cut Studio 2, 750 Gig, 4 Gig of Ram, ATI Radeon 2600 Pro

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)

The thumbnail is at the top of the screen, but when I select the photo, the screen goes black.

As a side note, some photos in Aperture go gray for a second, then connect. These photos are old ones that were previously imported into Aperture via the import iPhoto method. It seems like there is a linking problem or something.
