Importing Eudora Address Book to Macintosh Address Book

I would like to get the contents of my Eudora address book into the Macintosh Address Book. Based on what I've seen in other posts, one approach is to save the Eudora address book as a .csv file and then import that file into the Macintosh Address Book. This does not appear to work for me because when I save the Eudora address book in .csv format, I seem to lose all the information in the "Notes" tab/window for each entry. That is, the .csv file contains the information from the "Personal" tab/window for each entry but nothing else.

I tried another approach which was to use Thunderbird to import the Eudora address book with the hope of then saving the Thunderbird address book in LDIF format which I hoped would preserve the "Notes" information. I could not try out that approach because I could never get the Eudora Nicknames file to be chooseable (if that's a word).

Finally, I downloaded "Eudora vCard Export" and it worked but not well. The main problem was that it appeared to skip about two-thirds of the entries in the Eudora address book. The entries that it did not skip were saved in a .vcf file which the Macintosh Address Book imported pretty well.

So, bottom line: Is there an effective way of importing all the information from a Eudora Address Book into the Macintosh Address Book? Thanks.
