Ringtone problems for iphone

I recently bought ring tones from the itunes store and when I try to convert to ring tone I get a error message as shown - **ITunes cannot connect to the iTune store. A unknown error has occured.(11556).
Can anyone tell me what this means

You don't list a location in your profile - ringtones can only be purchased on the US iTunes Store (due to licensing restrictions from the music labels). Are you using the US store (check the pop-up menu at the very bottom of the main page of the store)?
