Newton ring under the screen

Hi, I notice that under the LCD screen of my iphone, there are a few newton rings circling around each other. at first I thought this is from the screen protector (between the protector and the screen), but i took off the protector and realized it is under the screen. The surface of the screen looks fine to me, since it has been protected since I bought it....

Have anyone had the same problem? Do you guys think Apple will take care of this?? Thanks.

Apple has been very generous about replacing defective phones. I suggest you make an appt, with an Apple store Genius Bar, and get it looked at.

I had the same thing happen to me. Took it to an apple store and it was replaced on the spot.

when you had it replaced, did you lose all your data on the phone? can you back it up on your own and transfer it to the new phone? thanks.

My iphone gets backed up every time I dock it to my mac. (At least that is what iTunes says anyway).

When I got the replacement phone, the genius at the Apple store swapped out my sim card from my old phone over to the replacement one and it automatically activated itself.

When I got home and connected it, I was prompted with a question if this was a "new" iphone or a "replacement". I chose replacement and it automatically did a resync and all my data was put back.
