Volume Down Button Not Clicking and Hard to Press

The volume down button on my iPhone seems to be stuck down. It still works, but it has to be pressed fairly hard and in a certain direction to work. It also does give the tactile "clicking" feel that all the other buttons do.

So I guess I was just wondering if there was any way for me to fix this, or if it would be covered by the warranty.

Thanks for any help.

The volume button is malfunctioning. No one here can speak for Apple as to whether you are covered by the warrantee - this is a user to user tech support site. You should take it to an Apple store Genius Bar to be evaluated. Unless they feel the phone was damaged by accident, misuse, water or earthquake, they probably will replace it. Don't try to fix it yourself - opening the case will void the warrantee.
