Red graphic causing iPhone wallpaper to be blurry

I found a problem with the iPhone's wallpaper that I cant figure out how to fix. It seems that if you try to use an image that has red as the predominant color in it, it becomes blurry when you set it as a wallpaper but when you view it in the iPhone's photo application it is very crisp. Does anyone know a way to fix this? Below are 3 wallpapers - 2 with red in it and one with yellow instead of red. If you noticed, the yellow one is crisp when set as wallpaper on the iPhone but the two red ones are blurry. Any help would be appreciated!
