First Gen. iphone, 8gb

Hello...Could somebody help me figure out why I am getting "no service" on my phone. I have called AT&T and apple and completely re-stored the phone and changed sim card but I am still getting the "no service" message on the phone.

Please enlighting me on what to do next...

Are you in an area that has coverage?

Do other AT&T phones get service where you are?

Is it in airplane mode?

You can call 800 my iphone or make an appointment at a genius bar, if you have tried everything and it still does not work. It could be a hardware problem.

Yes, I have coverage where I am at. My husband has an iphone and his works fine. Not on airplane mode. And I have called 800 my iphone, but what is a genius bar?

You can call AppleCare at (800) 694-7466, or make an appointment at an Apple store - at an Apple store genius bar if there is an Apple store nearby.

The genius bar is the support center at the Apple Store. They handle service and repair/replace.

Do you have a protective case on the iPhone? If you do, try testing without it.
