Forgot iPhone Password! Please Help!!!!

I forgot my password on the home screen. I really don't want to do a systems restore on the phone and loose all of my contacts, photos, and everything else on there. Is there anyway I can avoid doing this???

Hey,

What is the exact message on the iPhone?

If it says iPhone disabled, this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 provides the available options.

If the iPhone is asking for a SIM pin as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1316 you may have to contact the cellular service provider.

at the moment, it says "iphone is disabled. connect to itunes." once i've done that, it goes back to normal. when its locked, it askes me for my 4 digit password, which i've forgotten. since i've tried too many passwords, i'm disabled until i reconnect with itunes again. that all works fine. i am able to do a system restore, but i don't want to loose everything in my phone.

i restored my phone and did not lose any data because it it all backed up in itunes

Well anytime you plug in your phone to your computer, it should back up unless you cancel it. However it seems you haven't been prudent in your backups and are going to have to restore it from scratch. If you don't know the password, call Apple to see what they can do. Things don't look good.....

weird thats exactly what is happening to me right now the stupid ipod keeps saying ipod disabled luckily i found this topic and it helped me
