I have as of recently been having this problem. I cannot uninstall or update bonjour. I noticed this once Apple released Bonjour 1.0.6 and Apple Software Update gave me a notice that there was an update for the program. I tried to install it and I am getting this message in a new window:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Bonjour.msi' in the box below."

This is the default source that is automatically typed in the drop down box:

C:UsersBrendanAppDataLocalTempIXP968.TMP

At first I suspected that it was put in wrong and I redirected the path to:

*C:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache\Bonjour 1.0.105*

Then it says that that cannot be found. Then, I tried another spot:

*C:\Users\Brendan\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update\bonjour.msi*

Still doesn't work. Then I tried uninstalling Bonjour from the Programs and Features link in the Control Panel and I get the same exact message.

How can I uninstall the program from my computer? Is there a certain tool that I can download that can help me remove this or does anybody have any instructions that I can follow to manually remove it? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I just woke up today and no more itunes.

I have the exact same problem. Ran a search and never found this file (bonjour.msi).

Cannot access iTunes now - can't reinstall - can't do anything.

Tried to uninstall bonjour from control panel - no luck

Tried to delete bonjour files manually - no luck

This ***** - no help available from Apple

I figured this out. Use the windows installer clean up utility to remove bonjour, iTunes and Quicktime

    Reinstall iTunes

Will this cause problems on my computer? I've never used this tool, let alone ever heard of it. I skimmed over the web page from the link that you gave me but it seems like it could cause more problems than what I already have. Is this true?

Also, will this remove all the registry keys that iTunes/Quicktime/Bonjour created during/after installation? Will it also remove Safari?
