Diagrams in pages

I'm moving from office to iWork and having trouble with diagrams. In office I create diagrams in powerpoint and paste them into word, this doesn't work with keynote and pages.

Can anyone give me any pointers on creating diagrams in pages. I've had a look at the manual and it seems to only cover managing shapes not multiple shapes. I also need them to be inline so they move with text amends.

Cheers

There is no problem copying and pasting between Keynote and Pages, but I think what you are saying is that neither have good flow diagramming tools.

For these look at:

http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/OmniGraffle/

Make the diagrams in OmniGrafffle and export to pdf, then drag or copy into Pages.

As to multiple shapes, they are groupable and can easily be pasted inline:

see *Working with Images, Shapes, and Other Objects* p132 of the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf downloadable from under the Help menu.
