Quicktime Won't Run in Internet Explorer

For some reason, Quicktime will not work in IE. It works just fine in Firefox but not in IE. This is rather difficult for me because there are a few websites out there I frequent that uses Quicktime, but is only viewable in IE. Can someone please help with this?

Quicktime and Explorer hate each other. Quicktime videos never seem to play in Explorer for me either. Flash video (what Youtube uses) is currently destroying Quicktime in the web video market because it's compatible with everything, wheres Quicktime requires special programming for the IE browser.

I wish I could answer your question, but I can't.
