I shot some video under less-than-perfect conditions and my subject was wearing eyeglasses. The light from a large window was behind me and his eyeglasses have quite a bit of glare that is difficult to ignore. Is there anything I can do to reduce it? Any filters that can be used? I'm not very experienced with FCP so please spell it out for me if you can. Thanks.
If the information isn't there to begin with, there's no way to recover it. You can try playing around with the 3-way Color Corrector (modify the 3 sliders underneath the wheels), but that'll affect your entire image.
Actually the color corrector might be your best shot. You can limit the CC effect to the color and luminance of the glare. Check your manual under color correction 3-way for tips on how to limit the effect.
