My HP deskjet 5650 printer suddenly stopped printing Pages documents this afternoon after completing only 8 pages of a 10 page run. The printer does, however, print from other programs such as Preview, my Mac mail program, Appleworks, etc. So this problem seems specifically related to Pages. I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled HP driver V 3.3.3 (Universal Binary), as the Software Update recommends. This still does not solve the problem. I've rebooted and turned the printer on and off, and even installed HP driver version 2.7.1 which is specifically for the Max OS X, but nothing seems to work. Any solutions?

One more thing I've discovered since my last post: My HP printer 5650 will print native Pages '08 documents. The document that will not print was imported into Pages '08 from Appleworks v. 6.2.9. I'm still mystified however, since it printed 8 out of 10 pages of this document — then quit. Quite odd.
It turns out that my HP printer DOES reproduce Pages '08 documents imported from Appleworks, but for some reason, it will not print 2 pages of the 10 page document I was trying to print. I looked at the embedded marks and other aspects of the document, but cannot find anything that makes them different and unprintable in Pages.
