Black snowflakes are creeping into display from top-down
What is this? Black snowflakes are expanding and spreading from the top of my MacBook Pro screen, and they're metastacizing downward. I've reinstalled the latest software update. I've changed screen savers -- even resetting the screen wallpaper to the default. It's ... growing! Like a fungus. Any ideas? Thank you!
I have no idea what your problem is. If your computer is still under warranty you need to contact Apple or take your computer to an Apple Store so that you can show the techs there the black snowflakes.
Sounds like a cracked display to me, and the 'snowflakes' are leaking liquid crystal, which tends to take on that appearance, and get larger as the leak spreads.
I hope I'm wrong otherwise you'll need a new screen.
