Simple Table Of Authorities?

I am a lawyer trying to break away from MS Word. When my legal briefs are longer than 10 pages, I am required to provide a table of authorities that lists the cases and statutes that I cited throughout the brief and list which pages the citations can be found. MS Word allows you to mark citations and will automatically generate a simple table of authorities.

I know Pages works with EndNote, but that is expensive, complicated and overkill. Is there any way to simulate a simple table of authorities in Pages. Thanks.
