The USB adapter specs say Windows only, but some Mac users have used alternate drivers to get it to work.

Look at the review comments section - Attention Macintosh Users – on this page http://www.amazon.com/F5D7050-Wireless-802-11g-Network-Adapter/dp/B0002HA7FY
It’s for version 3000, but may be applicable to your version 5000. The Ralink page in this review no longer works, but here’s the driver page http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Macintosh.html You could try the RT2671 driver.

This link may also be of help. http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/airport-networking-wireless-technology/98506-i- have-mac-driver-belkin-usb-wireless-n-dongle.html

Also do a search for rtl8187b driver for mac osx 10.3 - 10.4.

 Cheers, Tom 😉
