aTV not connecting to network

Help please....
aTV will not connect to network. I have reconfigured but no changes, previously no problems - sync'd movie and when attempting to play received msg that not authorised to play. Since then could not connect.

Have tried all sources of help, save going to apple store - forum last resort.

I have been having Apple TV problems for over a week. No resolution. I am using AirPort Extreme for my wireless. Never had a problem before. It simply stopped recognizing my wireless network. I have reset the router. Re-booted everything, reset passwords....everything I know to do.

The wireless network works fine with my computers, iPod Touch and everything else. It is almost like something changed with the Apple TV and now it just fails to do anything. I too need some help with this.

Anybody got any suggestions?????

EXACT same thing happening here to me, same symptoms. All my iPhone. touches and macbooks see the network fine, but the Apple TV won't connect. It sees the network name, but when i enter the password (which is correct) it says "There was a problem connecting to the network - check your network settings and try again."

I can verify the password is correct on my macbook by hitting "show password"

connecting via WEP to 1st gen airport.

Same thing here. I upgraded to a Dual-Band Time Capsule. I have a MacBook Air which hops on perfectly to the -n network, but Apple TV refuses to see it. It CAN connect to the -g network (which my iPhone uses as well). When i set the ATV to stream, and then go to shared music, it just freezes. "run diagnostics" says everything is working fine. I even did a factory restore and then upgraded the software. same thing.
makes me think it's the ATV, not the network or the Time Capsule, since everything else is working ok. Any ideas? i'm at the point where i'll probably just buy a new ATV to test whether i have a faulty unit.

i have the same problem.
Apple TV sees my network, when I enter the password it says "there was a problem connecting to the network" etc....

My Macbook Pro is on the network - no problems.

I'm using airport express via WEP. my airport is connected via ethernet to my modem/router (verizon actiontec) (the reason my airport is connected via ethernet is because it isn't in range).

everything else is working fine except apple tv.

MAC filters off etc..

Did you figure out your problem?
