"opt" Folder Not Hidden

Hi all,

I had to show all files in Finder so i could access an iPod's hidden files, but i forgot to close a folder in the root of my hard drive called opt. When i hid the files again, opt was still visible. How do i fix this? its just a minor annoyance, but i'd like it to be hidden again.

Thanks,

Hi...

Related problem here, please help me too!

After installing Amarok I had that folder, opt, and some other stuf related with KDE. I got help from the program's forum to the effect that I could delete all these folders Amarok has created, but when I've thrown that opt folder and tried to empty trash, the system said: "dbus-daemon is in use, can't be deleted" and "libexpat.1.5.2.dylib is in use, can't be deleted". So I've brought the opt folder back with its two sub-folders, bin and lib containing the afore mentioned files. (And I've been asked password in carrying forth and back the folder to the thrash.)

Now, have I caused a damage already? What should I do? Leave it all as it is or do something? Additionally there's another folder whose name is just tilde; should I keep it?

Any help greatly appreciated (I've just recently crashed the computer and had it deep-formatted).
