Messed Up Bootcamp Partition. Drive Formatted -- Now I'm Stuck

I originally had Windows Vista on installed on a second partition on my mac. After creating a third partition to install Linux (yes, I know this was a big mistake, my Vista would no longer boot. It told me that I had to put in the install disk, and run the repair feature. Unfortunately, I left the disk at home (I am in college now). Luckily, I remembered to bring my old version of Windows XP. I formatted my drive with Disk Utility (Another stupid move), and then attempted to install XP. It only gave me the option to install over my entire hard disk. When I went back into OS X to departition via boot camp assistant, it said "The startup disk is not supported." I feel I am stuck now. How do I repair my partition so I can install vista? Or better yet, how can I delete that partition and start over using boot camp? Thanks for the help, and I hope the solution to this problem won't be too tricky.

edit: btw, I left my OS X install disk at home as well.
