I only just got a white macbook (late) for christmas, and it had been great until a few days ago. on the back of the screen (the side where the apple logo is) there are these weird grey blobs. i have not spilt anything on it. this is nothing that a magic eraser will get rid of. i have scratched it to try and get it off, and where the scratches are, it is as if the blob is underneath the plastic, and it is not risen. so my guess is that the Liquid crystal display, has somehow leaked out through the casing. is this possible? since it is faulty, and not my own fault, will apple repair it under my warranty, and if so, how long will it take to get repaired. (oh and two more are starting to appear, but they are more pale in color). thanks, any answers are greatly appreciated. x
There's really not enough liquid in an LCD to leak the way you are describing... and it would most certainly result in visible issues with your display. Although, admittedly I've never heard of this happening. Regardless of the cause, no one here can tell you if Apple will repair it under warranty. If they look at it and determine it is a manufacturing defect and not due to accidental damage, they will repair it under warranty. Only they can tell you how long that repair will take. They will have to look at it first and determine what needs to be done before they can give you an estimate as to how long it will take to fix.
A liquid crystal is not really a liquid in the sense you are talking about. You might call it a quasi-liquid or a quasi-solid. It really can't leak out in the way you are describing.

Could LCD fluid be leaking into white casing?
