What's the best way to trim the length of a song I bought on iTunes. I have both the protected version and then I bought the DRM free version. Thanks for your help.
20" Intel iMac 2GB RAM - 500GB HD,
Mac OS X (10.5.6),
2 Western Digital 1 TB External HD's
You can adjust the length of the portion that iTunes plays by getting info on the song in iTunes.
Under the Options tab you can set the start and end point of the song. This does not change the size of the file just the point at which iTunes will begin playing and stopping.
You could try and take it in as a new track in Garageband and edit it in a similar way to a ringtone then export to iDVD. I'm just thinking out loud but in theory it should work.
I found how to do this for a ringtone on YouTube so maybe there is an answer to your particular query on that.
