Auxiliary cable tip stuck inside headphone jack...

Hey...my auxiliary cable broke off inside my headphone jack for my iphone and I cant get the thing out for my life. I'm taking it to the genius bar at the apple store tomorrow, but I want to know whether or not my warranty will cover replacing my phone if I am unable to remove the broken piece from my headphone jack. I have to live with this thing for another almost 2 years, and I cannot have no headphone function and permanently have to use speaker phone while i talk to somebody.
