Is it possible to record on a nano 3g?

Hi all,

I want to be able to record voice memos on a nano 3G.
The "Features Guide" (known in the real world as a user guide...) says I can, but the Apple website says I cannot.

Belkin supplies a mic accessory, and says that I can if I have the latest firmware (which I have, 1.1.3)

So who is right????

Take a look at MacAlly's iVoicePro. Works with any iPod product that has the multi-use USB connector. However, if your's has a FireWire port then I think you're out of luck.

I checked their website - any idea what they mean by "3rd Generation (video)" - video???

Also not available where I live - have to get on eBay from US or HK (groan...)

Any one else got a definitive answer?

Yes, on an iPod Touch 1G. Bought at Amazon.com.

I figured out what they mean by "(video)" - it means the iPod nano 3G can display video. Well duh... Of course it can. All nano 3Gs can... Why they need to confuse things by making it seem like it's a different model, I don't know...
