Try clicking Check for Updates on the iPhone Summary page in iTunes. Then install any available carrier updates.

Thanks! I followed your link and, what do you know, it said I needed a carrier update and only gave the option to "download and install." I did it, and it seems to have worked after surfing around for a few minutes. I'm going to mark this as answered and will let anyone know I've jumped the gun here.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of the carrier updates, since the "normal" update check was saying I was up-to-date.
